Chelsea Finally Sack Coach Graham For Non-Performance in 2022/2023 Season Chelsea football club has confirmed the sacking of its manager for the football premier league period. This comes as the pressure becomes so much on the owners to sack the statistician for the rest of the season. Many has criticized his style of play. Most of his tactics could not go well with the players as they find it very difficult to cope with. The latest sack came after a worrisome performance against Aston villa. The game which everyone sees as the life line for the coach he threw all the three point away for the club. It has been confirmed by the club through their official website and reliable information from Nigerian reliable news media. The news came and as a big relief for most Chelsea fan who feels the club should have sacked the coach earlier than now. The club were quoted saying “Chelsea would like to thank Graham for all his efforts and contribution and wish him well for the future.” Obviously the Aston loss is the 11th defeat in the 31 games since taking over from Thomas Tuchel on 8th September. The German tactician was sacked when Chelsea were 6th in the premier league table. The German won some trophies including the high ranked Champions League, UEFA Super cup and the FIFA club world cup. The full statement reads, “Chelsea FC has announced that Graham Potter has departed the club. Graham has agreed to collaborate with the Club to facilitate a smooth transition. In his time with the club, Graham has taken us to the quarter final of the Champions League, where we will face Real Madrid. Chelsea would like to thank Graham for all his efforts and contribution and wish him well for the future.” The club also stated that Graham Potter “has agreed to collaborate with the club to facilitate a smooth transition” and Bruno Saltor will take charge of the team as Interim Head Coach. Co-controlling owners Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali said: ‘On behalf of everyone at the club, we want to thank Graham sincerely for his contribution to Chelsea. We have the highest degree of respect for Graham as a coach and as a person. He has always conducted himself with professionalism and integrity and we are all disappointed in this outcome. ‘Along with our incredible fans, we will all be getting behind Bruno and the team as we focus on the rest of the season. We have 10 Premier League games remaining and a Champions League quarter final ahead. We will put every effort and commitment into every one of those games so that we can end the season on a high.’ The Blues have spent more than £550m on new players this season and are searching for their third manager of the season after parting ways with the English man. Chelsea are now sitting 11th position in the league. They needed a better manager now to turn things around for them and be able to finish in the league. Chelsea supporters demand a better coach to replace Graham so as to increase their chances of winning more trophies. Many options are in place with the likes of former Bayern Munich coach and Leicester coach who are now without a good coach.
